Gutter cleaning service--the right way.
From mid-September until March the vast majority of calls are for gutter cleaning and we are best known for this service. When you call for gutter service it may be worthwhile to have us check for moss, algae or other things you want cleaned while the crew is there. Combining other services with gutter cleaning is a sure way to save money.
We clean gutters on homes, multifamily residential buildings, commercial buildings, schools, churches and more. We work with individual homeowners, large property management firms, governmental agencies, apartment owners, homeowners associations and all kinds of organizations in between.
Just contact us via phone, email or fax. After discussing what services you want, we visit your building and produce an estimate free of charge.
After you approve our estimate, we schedule the job as quickly as our schedule permits, and so that it is convenient for you. Normally, you do not need to be home during the job and we either leave an invoice upon completion or send one via mail. We accept checks or (rarely) cash. We can also accept payment via PayPal.
Our goal on every job is to delight you with the thoroughness and care representative of a job well done. The crew begins by cleaning your roof of loose debris--since it will eventually end up in your gutters anyway. They then scoop the debris from the gutters and inspect for any clogs in the downspouts. The crew will clear any clogs in the downspouts that they encounter. Then, they flush the gutters and downspouts clear of all residual mud and "goop."
Sometimes, it becomes apparent after cleaning a downspout up above that there is another clogged area in the ground drainage system. The way this is discovered is that the water flows down the downspout but soon backs up and burbles back up out of the ground drain. The crew will mark any such downspouts at the base with fluorescent tape. Cleaning underground clogs is a job for one of the "rotary rooter" type plumbing companies.
Incidentally, one of the differences between our service and some others is that we really do hand clean your gutters instead of trying to flush and ram it all down your downspouts. Flushing a little bit of residual mud and goop is normal. Any more is asking for trouble.
The last phase of the job is to clean up any debris that has been been blown off the roof and scooped from the gutters, to rinse walkways, siding and other surfaces clean of any errant debris and to haul it all away. Generally, you are left with your landscaping and other surrounding areas cleaner than they were before we arrived. And your gutters and downspouts are ready for the next visit from Mother Nature.
